On Wednesday, 16th February 2022, we hosted an informative and inspirational workshop from the United Nations Association of Norway (UNA Norway) on Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
The workshop was around some big questions:
- How can you ensure that the students acquire the skills to promote sustainable development?
- Which factors can limit/ promote teaching for sustainable development goals?
- What can you do about it?
This workshop reinforced our commitment to our mission statement: to create a better world through education.
Atle Alemie, the advisor at UNA Norway office, commented that our school, as the first UNESCO school in this region, is lucky to be the pioneer school in Norway in developing SDGs.
