Dear parents and guardians,
We are excited to announce that Sandnes International School will be offering SFO (Skolefritidsordning) starting in August 2023. SFO is a Norwegian after-school program that provides a safe and stimulating environment for children to engage in various activities outside of regular school hours.
At Sandnes International School, we believe that learning and growth should not be limited to the classroom. That’s why we have decided to offer SFO to provide an opportunity for our students to participate in various extracurricular activities that complement their academic education.
Our SFO program will offer a range of activities, including arts and crafts, sports, music, and outdoor play, among others. Our team of experienced educators and caregivers will ensure that your child receives the necessary support and guidance to participate in these activities and develop their social and emotional skills.
The SFO program will be available for all students enrolled in our school, from grade 1 to grade 4. The program will start immediately after the regular school day and run until 4:30 PM. Parents can choose to enroll their children in the SFO program on a daily or weekly basis, depending on their needs.
We believe that the introduction of SFO will be a valuable addition to our school community and will help us continue to provide the highest quality of education and care to our students.
