Yuwei Fei
  • Founder and Head of School

Yuwei Fei, with master degree in education, has many years of professional experience in international education with his roles in three international schools both in China and Norway. Followed by his dream and the passion on education, he will take the new position at Sandnes International School.

 

Jessica Leiknes

  • PYP 1-2 Class Teacher

Jessica Leiknes is from the USA and has been teaching since 2010.  Her experience has given her the opportunity to teach diverse groups of students.  As a result, she has become proficient at designing creative and stimulating lessons, which accommodate multiple levels of intelligence, bringing a hands-on approach to learning, and keep students interested and focused.

 

 

 

Maria Petersen
  • PYP 3-6 Class Teacher

Maria Petersen graduated form Azusa Pacific University with her Bachelor’s degree in education in 2015. Since then she has furthered her education, and worked in the professional setting. She is no stranger to Norway, and grew up living in Norway every summer. This will be Maria’s first year of teaching, and is elated about being a founding member of Sandnes international school.

 

 

Inger Håland
  • Norwegian teacher 
  • Inger Håland grew up in Norway but has many years of international experience. After studies in Norway and Italy, where she took a Master`s degree in History, she worked as a teacher in a Norwegian Junior High School, and later she taught Norwegian as a Foreign Language in Athens, Greece.

 

 

Priyanka Gopakumar

  • Assistant 

Priyanka is from India. She holds Bachelor degree in Fine Arts, did Diploma in interior designing and the certification on the National curriculum framework(NCF). She has many years of teaching experience with well renowned international school in India and has a vision of shaping as well as developing her pupils. She strongly believes that one should focus on building strong moral character coupled with fine conduct and then harness intellectual abilities.
